PRIVACY
POLICY.

How we handle the information you share with us through this website, and what you can ask us to do with it.

This policy explains what information Navi Cables Technologies Pvt Ltd collects through this website, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written for business visitors — OEM buyers, distributors, brand owners and sourcing teams — who contact us with enquiries and requests for quotation.

1. Who we are

Navi Cables Technologies Pvt Ltd is a cable and connectivity manufacturer based in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Navi Cables Technologies Pvt Ltd. “You” refers to anyone visiting this website or contacting us through it.

We are the data fiduciary for the personal data described below, and we handle it in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian law.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you submit an enquiry or a request for quotation through our website, we collect the details you enter in the form:

  • Company or brand name
  • Contact person’s name
  • Email address
  • Telephone or WhatsApp number
  • Country
  • Product category of interest
  • Required quantity, expected annual volume and target price, where you choose to share them
  • Required delivery date or timeline
  • Application or end use
  • Your detailed requirement, in your own words
  • Any file you attach — typically a drawing, specification, bill of materials or sample image

Only company name, contact person, email, phone and product category are required. Everything else is optional, and an enquiry is complete without it.

We also collect whatever you choose to tell us if you email us, call us, or message us on WhatsApp.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting and analytics tools record basic technical information when you visit — IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you viewed, and the site or search that brought you here. This is used to understand how the website is performing, not to identify you personally.

What we do not collect

We do not ask for and do not want payment card details, bank account numbers, government identification numbers, or any sensitive personal information through this website. Please do not send these to us through the enquiry form.

3. Why we use your information

We use the information you give us to:

  • Understand your requirement and reply to your enquiry
  • Prepare a quotation, a sample proposal or a technical response
  • Ask follow-up questions where a specification is unclear
  • Keep a record of the enquiry so we can pick up the conversation later
  • Arrange sample development, production planning and dispatch where an enquiry becomes an order
  • Meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations
  • Improve the website and the information we publish on it

We do not use your details to send marketing messages you did not ask for, and we do not add enquiry contacts to a mailing list without your agreement.

4. The basis on which we use it

When you submit an enquiry form, you are giving us your consent to use those details to respond to you. You can withdraw that consent at any time by writing to us at the address in section 12. Where we are required to keep records — for example for tax or statutory audit — we may retain the minimum needed for that purpose.

5. Drawings, specifications and files you send us

This matters in our line of work, so we set it out separately.

Technical files you send us — drawings, specifications, bills of materials, sample photographs — are treated as your confidential business information. We use them only to evaluate your requirement, quote for it, develop a sample and, where you place an order, manufacture it.

We do not share your drawings or specifications with other customers. We do not use one customer’s design to make a product for another. Where we need to involve a supplier or tooling partner to quote accurately, we share only the part of the information that partner needs, and on the same confidential basis.

If your requirement calls for a formal non-disclosure agreement before you send technical documents, tell us and we will sign one first.

6. Cookies and analytics

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. Our website uses cookies for two purposes:

  • Necessary cookies — needed for the website to work, for example to keep a form usable while you fill it in. These cannot be switched off.
  • Analytics cookies — used to count visits and understand which pages are useful. This is measurement in aggregate; it is not used to identify individual visitors.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking analytics cookies will not stop you using any part of this website.

We do not use advertising cookies and we do not run advertising trackers on this website.

7. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal data. We do not rent it, and we do not trade enquiry lists.

We share it only in these situations:

  • Service providers who operate parts of our business on our behalf — website hosting, email, and analytics. They may process the data only on our instructions.
  • Supply and logistics partners, where an order requires it — for example a courier needing a delivery address.
  • Professional advisers such as our auditors or legal advisers, where they need it to advise us.
  • Authorities, where we are required by law to disclose information.

8. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for as long as the commercial relationship is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards so that we can answer questions about past quotations, samples and orders. Where we are required to retain records for tax or statutory purposes, we keep them for the period the law requires. After that, we delete them or remove the details that identify you.

If you ask us to delete your enquiry and we are not required to keep it, we will.

9. How we protect it

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information you send us. The website is served over an encrypted connection. Enquiry records and attached files are accessible only to the people in our team who need them to respond to you.

No method of transmitting information over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you have a document that is especially sensitive, tell us and we will agree a suitable way to exchange it.

10. Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal data of yours we hold and how we are using it
  • Correct anything that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • Delete data we no longer need for the purpose you gave it for
  • Stop using your details for a purpose you previously agreed to

Write to us using the contact details in section 12. We will respond within a reasonable period. We may need to confirm who you are before we act on a request, to make sure we are not disclosing someone else’s information.

11. Other websites and services

This website links to external services, including WhatsApp and our social media profiles. Once you follow a link away from our website, this policy no longer applies. Those services have their own privacy policies and we do not control them.

Our website is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
